The influence of acid value (acidity) of insulating oil on transformer oil filter

2018/5/15 Viewers:
Insulating oil is mainly used for insulating oil materials of transformers, which can block the generation of electric current. The main properties of insulating oil are low temperature performance, oxidation stability and dielectric loss. Low temperature performance refers to the automatic convection of oil in electrical equipment at low temperatures, and the fluidity required to derive heat and instantly cut off the arc current. It is generally required that the pour point of insulating oil is low and the viscosity is low at low temperature. In electrical equipment, oil is oxidized for a long time by the action of heat and oxygen under the action of electric field. The oxidation stability of the oil added with antioxidants and metal passivating agents is better. Dielectric loss is the degree of dielectric loss of oil in AC electric field. It is generally expressed as the tangent value of dielectric loss angle (tan delta).

The number of milligrams of potassium nitrous oxide needed in the insulating oil and one gram of the test oil is called the acid value, which is called the acid value, and is expressed in mgKOH/g; and the acid components that are contained in the 100ml test oil are called acidity, and the acid value remaining from the test oil is the sum of organic and inorganic acids, also called the sum of organic and inorganic acids. Total acid value.

Under normal circumstances, inorganic acids exist in new oils, unless inorganic acids remain in oil because of poor operation or refining and incomplete cleaning. Generally, the remaining acid values almost represent organic acids, that is, compounds containing a COOH group. The organic acids in oil are mainly carboxylic derivatives of naphthenic acid and cyclic carboxylic acid (mainly five carbon rings). The general formula is CnH2n-1COOH. In addition, there are acidic substances that are oxidized during storage and transportation. Heavy fractions also contain high molecular organic acids. Some oil products also contain phenolic, fatty acids and some sulfides, asphaltenes and other acidic compounds.

In the operation of power system oil, because of the influence of operating conditions such as temperature, air, electric field and so on, the sleeve is oxidized to produce acid, such as low molecular formic acid, acetic acid, propionic acid, etc., such as fatty acid, ring burning acid, hydroxy acid, asphaltic acid and so on. So the acid value of running oil is mostly organic acid, which includes the sum of low molecular organic acids and high molecular organic acids. Under normal circumstances, the acid value of oil in operation increases with the increase of running time.
