The principle of measuring the interfacial tension of the insulating oil filter

The interfacial tension of insulating oil refers to the tension produced by measuring the interface between oil and incompatible water. Usually, the interface of oil is: oil, gas, oil, liquid, oil and so on. The interfacial tension of insulating oil belongs to the category of oil.

In the theory of molecular motion of physics, there is a layer of surface layer on the surface of the liquid, and the force on the liquid surface is different from that in the inner liquid. This is because every molecule in the liquid is surrounded by a molecule of the same kind, that is, the attraction of the surrounding molecules is equal and the force can be counteracted by this, that is, the resultant force is equal to zero; and the gravitational force on the liquid surface or at the two intersecting interface is not equal because of the force field. Part of the surface is outside the surface, and the gravitational force of the ordinary surface molecules is often less than the gravitational force of the internal molecules, so the force field is uneven, or not the same. Because the attraction of the liquid molecules near the surface or interface is different, the liquid surface tends to shrink automatically. That is, the molecular attraction of the oil molecules on the interface layer is more attractive than the water molecules, which makes the oil surface produce a free surface energy that tries to shrink, as shown in Figure 2-2.
