Indicators of insulation performance of oil filters for electrical appliances:
Insulation oil is mainly used for electrical insulation, mainly used in transformers, transformers, switches and other electrical appliances. Low temperature performance, oxidation stability and dielectric loss are the three main performance indicators of electrical insulation oil.
(1) Low temperature performance is the most important requirement index of insulating oil. It refers to the fluidity that oil can convection automatically in equipment, derive heat and cut off arc current instantaneously under low temperature conditions. Generally, the low pour point and low temperature viscosity of electrical insulating oil are required. (2) Oxidation stability is the second performance index of insulating oil, which is oxidized by heat and oxygen under electric field for a long time. In the past, naphthenic oil was used to produce oil with better oxidation stability under reasonable refining conditions, but the test proved that the oil with antioxidant and metal passivator had better oxidation stability.
(3) Dielectric loss is mainly a reference value of impurity content in transformer. It reflects the degree of dielectric loss of insulating oil under AC electric field. It is generally expressed by the tangent value of dielectric loss angle (Delta). TG delta is a very sensitive index, reflecting the degree of refinement, cleanliness and oxidative deterioration of oil. The value of TG delta increases when oil contains colloid, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, or when mixed with water, impurities and oxidized products of oil.
