The oil sample of transformer oil is the basis of oil quality test. If the oil sample is not correct, it is not representative, and the result of the test is meaningless, so the correct sampling is the first link in the field of experiment and research. Both home and abroad have attached great importance to the work of sampling. The national standard for the oil sampling method has been developed. The name is the sampling method of power oil (transformer oil and turbine oil), numbered GB7597- 87. The sampling method includes sampling tools, sampling methods, sampling locations, sampling quantities, and transportation and preservation of oil samples. Special attention should be paid to the different requirements for each sampling link and step in the sampling method and the special sampling (that is, the sampling of the water content and the gas content in the oil measurement). Sampling should be strictly observed in order to achieve correct and representative sampling.
Insulation oil applications: insulating oil and other liquid insulating media need to test the dielectric loss angle and volume resistivity, such as the use of MS101Y insulating oil dielectric loss tester.
