Density determination of waste liquid after oil filtration

1.the definition of density and specific gravity of hydraulic oil in Physics: the mass of matter contained in unit volume. Therefore, the density of oil products in the unit volume of the quality of oil in China's petroleum product density determination method, whether measured by the density meter method or the specific gravity bottle method is the density of petroleum products. Although it is customarily known as "lateral gravity", the density is actually measured, not the specific gravity.
2.the factors affecting the density of hydraulic oil have the following points.
(1) it is related to the temperature of the cut fractions. Generally speaking, in the refining process of petroleum products, such as the temperature of the cut fraction is high, the average molecular weight of the oil product is large and its density is large. On the contrary, if the temperature of the cut fraction is low, the average molecular weight of the oil product is small, and the density of the oil product is also small.
(2) it is related to the chemical composition of the oil. The density of oil is related to the amount of hydrocarbons contained. The density of hydrocarbons is the smallest, followed by Naphthenic hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons. The density of non hydrocarbon compounds is also large, so the greater the content of aromatic hydrocarbons or non hydrocarbon compounds in oil products, the greater the density of oil products. When the oil is aging in operation, the resin and asphaltene produced will also affect the density of the oil.
(3) it is related to the temperature of the environment. As we all know, the density of oil products is greatly affected by temperature. When the temperature rises, the volume of oil increases and the density decreases. Conversely, when the temperature decreases, the volume decreases and the density increases. Therefore, when measuring oil density, the temperature must be indicated.
3. method and principle for measuring the density of hydraulic oil. Density meter for the determination of oil products. The densitometer method is based on Archimedes's law. When a densitometer sinks a liquid, a part of the liquid is discharged and is bottom-up, which is equal to the buoyancy of the liquid weight. According to Archimedes's law, when the weight of the liquid in the density meter is equal to the weight of the densitometer, the densimeter is in the equilibrium state, that is, floating in the liquid oil. The greater the density of liquid oil, the higher the density of the densitometer floating in it. The smaller the density of liquid oil, the deeper the density gauge sinks. That is, when the density of oil is different, the density meter will sink to different degrees. From this, we know that the denser scale on the densitometer scale is located at the lower part of the ruler, and the smaller density is located in the upper part.
4. the following items should be paid attention to when measuring the density of oil products.
(1) densitometer must be wiped clean before use. After wiping, do not grasp the following parts of the highest dividing line, so as not to affect the reading.
(2) the diameter of the measuring cylinder for measuring the density of the test oil should be twice larger than the diameter of the body by the densitometer, so as to prevent the density meter from colliding with the inner wall and influence the accuracy, and its height should be appropriate.
(3) when the density meter is immersed in the oil test, do not use the hand to push down the densitometer. It should be gently placed to prevent the density gauge from sinking at the bottom of the measuring cylinder and breaking the densitometer.
(4) the position of the readings, regardless of the determination of the transparent or dark oil, should be read on the upper edge of the liquid surface, and the eye and the upper edge of the liquid must be at the same level when reading.
(5) do not take the end of the density gauge sideways to prevent breaking.
(6) if the density scale displacement of the densitometer is found and the glass has cracks, it should be stopped.
(7) the bubbles will be affected when bubbles are inside or on the surface of the sample, and bubbles should be removed before testing.
(8) when measuring the density of mixed oil, it must be stirred evenly.
(9) while reading, the temperature of the specimen should be recorded.
