The purpose of liquid-phase corrosion test is to identify the ability of turbine oil to mix with water, to prevent corrosion of metal parts, and to evaluate the antirust effect of additives.

Especially when the unit has defects, the water intake in the turbine oil is unavoidable. Because of the long-term existence of water, the oil system causes corrosion and corrosion products to cause the speed control system to fail and threaten the safe operation of the unit. To this end, it is necessary to improve the antirust performance of turbine oil, that is, adding rust inhibitor to the oil. But when the antirust agent is added, the antirust property of the turbine oil has been improved, and the amount of the antirust agent added, both economic and good, must be determined by the liquid corrosion test.
2. years of experience, it is shown that the corrosion resistance of the turbine oil is improved by adding a code name of "746? Antirust agent" in the turbine oil of the water leaking unit. The corrosion of the oil system is obviously improved, or it can no longer continue to corrode. But the antirust agent is gradually consumed in operation. In order to maintain the rust resistance of turbine oil, rust protection system should be added to turbine oil regularly. The consumption of rust inhibitor is usually understood through liquid phase corrosion test to determine the amount and time of rust inhibitor addition.
3. hard film test is to further investigate the effect of the antirust agent. Therefore, in addition to the corrosion test of the liquid phase, the hard membrane test should be done, and the hard film test should be qualified.

The significance of caustic sodium test for oil products is:

(1) the caustic soda test of oil products is mainly an index for judging the refining degree of new oil or reclaimed oil. In the process of refining and processing of new oil or regenerated oil, there may be sulfonates, sulfates, naphthenic acids, organic acids and phenols in the oil due to the inadequacy of refining and the lack of cleaning. Therefore, for example, the level of caustic soda test of oil is above 3 grade, indicating that the alkali washing process is not thorough, and naphthenic acid and sodium salt still exist in the oil. Therefore, the caustic soda test is one of the important quality indicators to check the quality of oil refining. Therefore, the standard of petroleum products stipulates that the level of caustic test of new transformer oil and turbine oil can not be greater than 2 grade.
(2) the caustic soda test can be used as a control test for the oil treatment site. In the process of oil treatment, a large oil regeneration scheme is determined according to the results of small-scale tests. Generally speaking, the other chemical indexes of oil products, such as caustic sodium test, can reach the standard requirement, so the caustic test can be used as the control test of oil treatment in the field.
(3) the operation of transformer oil and turbine oil, although there is no index of caustic sodium test, but oil in long run, and affected by temperature, air and metal contact friction, oil will oxidize and increase the acid value, that is, the content of organic acids in the oil, or other soap, will increase the test grade of sodium caustic. It can explain the deterioration of the quality of oil in operation.
