The heat generated by the operation of the transformer increases the heat expansion of the oil near the core and the winding. Through the convection of the oil, the heat is dispersed through the radiator to ensure the normal operation of the transformer. 3. on the on load tap changer of oil circuit breaker and transformer, the arc will be generated when the contact is switched. Due to the good thermal conductivity of the transformer oil and the high temperature of the arc, the transformer can touch a lot of gas and produce large pressure, thus the arc extinguishing performance of the medium is improved and the arc is quickly extinguished.
The performance of transformer oil usually has the following requirements: 1., the density of transformer oil is as small as possible, so as to facilitate the precipitation of water and impurities in oil. 2. viscosity must be moderate, too common to affect convection heat dissipation, too small will reduce flash point. The 3. flash point should be as high as possible, and generally should not be below 136 degrees C. 4. the freezing point should be as low as possible.
The vacuum oil filter mainly filters waste transformer oil, insulating oil, lubricating oil and other filtering equipment, and reduces the performance of the oil by filtering out water and impurities.
